That a number of companies tease or make fun of Apple is nothing new. For instance, Samsung is perhaps the most popular of them all especially since they started making fun of its biggest rival for the notch display. But other than Samsung, Xiaomi is another one that hasn’t really hesitated from taking a direct dig at Apple on a number of occasions.
After the launch of the new iPhones, Xiaomi is grabbing this chance to brag about its products that are seemingly more value for money, at least according to the company itself. Xiaomi is marketing a phone, a smartwatch and a laptop, all bundled together and making them available at prices of individual new iPhones.
For instance, at a price of the iPhone XR, Xiaomi is offering a Mi 8 SE (6 GB / 128 GB), 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air (8 GB / 256 GB), a Mi Band 3 and a Bluetooth handsfree. The company is even calling this bundle of gadgets as Xiaomi XR. Nothing can be more direct!
Similarly, in the Xiaomi XS package, you get the Mi Mix 2S (8 GB / 256 GB), a 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air while the band and the handsfree remain unchanged. Lastly, the Xiaomi XS Max package includes a Mi 8, Mi Notebook Pro, Mi Band 3 and a pair of Bluetooth earbuds.
The Xiaomi XR, XS and the XS Max packages are priced at CNY 6499 ($ 946), CNY 8699 ($ 1266) and CNY 9599 ($ 1397), respectively. Unfortunately enough, these packages are China-exclusive.
