With increasing competition, it has become imperative that any smartphone (which is important to a company) is updated more often. On that note, updates about the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 are starting to arrive from China as the phone’s unveil/launch in July gets nearer.

The said smartphone recently went through the 3C (Compulsory Certification of China), which in turn revealed certain interesting bits of information about its specs and features.

Clearly, the Mi Max 3 will be an upgrade over the Mi Max 2, and is said to be powered by the new generation Snapdragon 710 processor by Qualcomm. The Snapdragon 710 is the newest mid-range processor with integrated AI learning mechanism to progressively improvise various functionalities in a phone over the period of time (for example, camera performance).

Besides, the device will get 4 GB of RAM to assist the new Snapdragon chipset. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will support fast charging (which makes sense since the Mi Max 2 has the same feature already). According to the reports, the phone is likely to get 5,500 mAh battery with an 18W charger (12V/1.5A).

The display is likely going to be larger at 6.99 inches delivering Full HD+ resolution. Lastly, the phone will come with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box.
