In this period of tragic happening in Kerala, every tech giant is stepping ahead to help Kerala flood-affected people. Recently Xiaomi India did the same too. Manu Jain, VP of Xiaomi India said that they will repair all the water damaged Xiaomi smartphones in Kerala for free. He said that the company will make a formal announcement in a few days too.
Manu Jain further added that this is a nice gesture from the Xiaomi to help the people of Kerala in this tragic moment. However, the company will announce more information regarding the same in a couple of days.
Google has also introduced a feature to help the flood-hit victims in Kerala. The company has created a Google Person Finder page that helps people to find the missing people in the state. The Google has also rolled out Kerala Flood Resource feature in their Google Maps that gives people a guide to locations for shelter, food, water, essentials and more.
Xiaomi will join the likes of Facebook, Google, Amazon and different other telecom operators to help the affected people in Kerala. Many telecom operators have announced free calling, free data for helping people connect with their family and friends without any problems.
