Various speculations are coming in quick successions about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 8 ranging from its design and the placement of the fingerprint sensor to the various storage capacities.
A latest report from South Korea says that the company’s next flagship is likely to have two internal storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB. Both will be expandable up to 256 GB. This is quite realistic and, in a way, expected given that the Galaxy S8+ has similar storage options while the S8 has the smaller one. The unfortunate Note 7 also came with a 64 GB of storage and both the current flagships-in-production are expandable up to 256 GB.
This latest info also means that the Note 8 with the 64 GB storage may get 4 GB of RAM while the one with the larger capacity will have 6 GB of RAM. The launch event is more or less confirmed for the August 26 and Samsung would be looking to bury last year’s demons once and for all.
The Note 8 is going to be the most powerful phone ever for its maker with the possible powerhouse that is Snapdragon 836 processor. It will also debut the dual camera on a Samsung device. With each passing day the launch date gets nearer and we won’t be surprised to see more speculations or leaked images.
