Samsung is constantly launching new low-end and mid-range smartphones dedicated to Asian or other emerging markets. The company targets budget-oriented customers. And now, the South Korean giant is all set to launch another mid-range smartphone – the Galaxy J8 which is a selfie-centric smartphone.
The Galaxy J8 has been spotted at NCC (National Communications Commission) in Taiwan, suggesting that the handset is going to be launched in Taiwan too. Anyway, at the website of authority, we found some live images as well as specifications of this handset.
According to NCC Taiwan, the Galaxy J8 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450. Internals of the handset is being supported by 4GB of RAM. The handset also has 64GB of internal storage which is expandable through MicroSD.
Talking about camera, the Galaxy J8 features a combo of 16 megapixels (with f/1.7 aperture) and 5 megapixels (f/1.9 aperture) on the rear. As it is a selfie-centric handset, it features a whopping 24 megapixels front-facing camera. Further, the smartphone is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery.
