Low-end and lower mid-range segment of smartphone market in India is dominated by Xiaomi, thanks to its value for money handsets. In this segment, Samsung also has too many smartphones but they lack at specifications and often considered as overpriced handsets. But now it seems that things are going to be changed. Actually, Samsung is working on a new low-end smartphone called Galaxy J7 Duo.
Previously, this handset was spotted multiple times online with the name Galaxy J7 (2018) but now it is expected to be launched as Galaxy J7 Duo as user manual has been leaked. According to SamMobile, the user manual of this smartphone was leaked on Samsung’s official Indian website. It is also expected that the handset might be launched by the end of this month.
Talking about Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo specifications, the handset is built around a 5.5 inch display with 720 pixels of HD resolution and is powered by Samsung’s in-house developed Exynos 7885 processor. The handset is expected to be launched in two variants – 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM.
The Galaxy J7 Duo is said to feature a duo of 13 and 5 megapixels sensors on the rear that are able to capture “Live Focus” bokeh shots. With dual SIM functionality and fingerprint sensor, the handset will run on Android 8.0 Oreo.
Further, none of the aforementioned information has been officially confirmed by Samsung, so take it with a pinch of salt.
