Xiaomi-branded smartphones are doing pretty well in the Indian market but last couple of months have been tough as other players have launched their phones targeting Redmi Note 5 Pro. The biggest rival of this phone is Zenfone Max Pro M1. Anyway, it seems that Xiaomi has taken it very seriously and now rumored to be working on Redmi Note 6 and Redmi Note 6 Pro.
Couple of days back, we told you that Xiaomi is working on Redmi 6 which now turns out to be Redmi Note 6. You can check out previous post to know about this device. Coming to the Redmi Note 6 Pro, the handset is rumored to come with triple camera on the rear – 12MP, 8MP and 5MP. At the front, the handset has a 20 megapixels shooter.
Running on Android 8.1 Oreo, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is built around a 5.84 inch full HD+ display with notch, 19:9 aspect ratio and 2280×1080 pixels of resolution. It is powered by an octa-core processor running at 2.0GHz of clocked processing speed. We have no information over chipset.
The handset is said to be launched in three variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 64GB ROM. Internal storage of all variants is expandable using MicroSD. It will be available in 9 colors – Silver, Gray, Pink, Red, Blue, White, Gold, Rose Gold and Black.
Connectivity options on the Redmi Note 6 Pro include 4G with VoLTE, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi and USB Type-C. It measures 149.33×71.68×8.75mm in dimensions and weighs 178 grams. Further, the handset is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery.
