Xiaomi had launched Redmi Note 5 Pro earlier this year in India and now they are preparing their Redmi Note 6 and Pro devices. In past few weeks, there had been many leaks regarding the Redmi Note 6 and Redmi Note 6 Pro’s specifications. Further, a user on Weibo has posted an image regarding the specification of Redmi Note 6 Pro that suggests that the device will have a Snapdragon 660 processor.
The Note variant hasn’t been announced by the company but it has already appeared at numerous listings, including EEC. The Information that came from Weibo user suggests that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will make its way to India soon and will have a Snapdragon 660 SOC.
The post has already been taken down and can be considered genuine since this is not the first leak from the same user. This Weibo user also suggests that the device will have two variants, one with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage and other with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage for those who want more and can spend a little bit extra to have a good mid-range device.
If rumors come real than the Redmi Note 6 Pro would be a worthy upgrade from Snapdragon 636 that was on Redmi note 5 Pro. This means, now the phone would switch to four Kryo 260 cores at 2.2 GHz and four more at 1.88 GHz rather than an octa-core Cortex A-53 CPU at 1.8 GHz on Redmi Note 5 Pro.
