Today, India saw the launch of Realme 2 smartphone at a starting price of Rs 13,990. But it was definitely the highlight of the launch event, Realme introduced another smartphone which might as well prove to be the most successful for the company in the coming months. It’s called the Realme C1.
What is Realme C1? If you’ll look at the specifications, which are mentioned below, you’ll notice that it’s nothing but a cheaper version of the already cheap Realme 2.
For instance, the Snapdragon 450 processor, the 6.2-inch display (which delivers 720p x 1520p resolution) as well as the 13 MP + 2 MP dual camera setup at the back are absolutely same as those in the Realme 2.
The biggest difference is in the amount of RAM and the internal storage – the Realme C1 has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage (which is expandable up to 256 GB). In comparison, Realme 2 comes with 3 GB and 4 GB RAM options as well as 32 GB and 64 GB storage options.
To elaborate more on the overall camera specs, Realme C1’s front gets a 5 MP camera unit integrated with AI infused Facial unlock function. Another important point is the generously sized 4,230 mAh battery which appears to promise impressive runtime in a single charge.
One important feature the Realme C1 misses out on is the fingerprint sensor. But then, at Rs 6,999 it doesn’t really seem fair to complain about the same. At this price, the phone is no doubt a very good value for money device, at least it appears to be. The phone will go on sale from October 11 exclusively on Flipkart.
