Pocophone, the Xiaomi’s sub-brand has officially launched its debut smartphone, the Poco F1, at a launch event in New Delhi on 22nd August. The phone that is priced too cheap comes with flagship Snapdragon 845 processor and appears to be breaking the neck of the recently launched flagships such as OnePlus 6, Asus Zenfone 5Z, Samsung Galaxy S9 and other devices running on SD 845.
Poco F1 Design, Specifications:
Talking about the design, the newly launched Poco F1 looks a lot like the Mi 8 from the front. The Poco F1 has a plastic back and doesn’t look like premium or flagship at all, but who cares when you get such powerful device priced so cheap and obviously, they needed to cut the expenses somewhere. The device has a notch which contains a front camera, earpiece, and sensors. It also has an ‘IR Face Unlocking’ hardware. The device has a liquid cooling technology for 300% faster heat transfer and improved graphics performance.

For the camera, the Poco F1 comes with a dual 12MP + 5MP rear camera setup placed along the center, in the front the device has a 20MP front camera for selfies. The camera also has several AI features, such as Scene recognition, AI portraits and more.
For the battery, the device has a massive 4,000mAh battery pack and also comes with Quick Charge 3.0.

Pocophone’s Poco F1 has been priced starting at Rs 20,999 and it will be available in 3 different models:
6GB + 64GB – Rs 20,999
6GB + 128GB – Rs 23,999
8GB + 256GB – Rs 28,999
8GB + 256GB (Kevlar Edition) – Rs 29,999
The device is available in three colours i.e. Steel Blue, Graphite Black and Rosso Red. There is also a Kevlar edition of the device available. The device is exclusive to Flipkart and will not be available offline and the first flash sale is said to be happening on 29th August.
With such specs and a notch design, the Poco F1 is about to give tough competition to some budget flagship devices. The device has been priced extremely low and with the Xiaomi’s brand name, Poco F1 can kill the Honor Play, which was launched just recently.
