Oppo R17 Spotted at TENAA, Features Snapdragon 670 & In-Display Fingerprint Sensor

It seems that Oppo is getting ready to launch a new smartphone. Called the Oppo R17, the handset has been spotted at TENAA and a leakster from China has shared some specifications of this handset.

Oppo R17 Specifications and Features

According to the leakster, the Oppo R17 is built around a 6.4-inch AMOLED display which is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass. The handset will offer an impressive 91.5% screen-to-body ratio. The handset is said to be launched in three colors – Fog, Neon Violet and Stream Blue.

The interesting thing about Oppo R17 is its in-display fingerprint sensor which suggests that the handset might fall under upper mid-range segment. Another interesting thing is its Snapdragon 670 processor which is yet-to-be-launched. So, the processor information might just be fake.

Running on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2, the Oppo R17 packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. Talking about imaging department, the handset features a combo of 16MP and 5MP cameras on the rear with Super Night Mode; whereas a Sony IMX576 25 megapixels camera is placed at the front for selfies and video calling.

Further, the Oppo R17 is backed by a 3,500 mAh battery with VOOC flash charging feature.
