The Oppo A7 was in the leaks for more than 2 months and now, finally, the company has launched it officially. The handset has been launched in China and is said to be available in three color options – Amber Gold, Lake Green, and Fresh Pink. It will be available in China from the 22nd of November with a starting price of 1,599 Yuan (approx. ₹16,540). Unfortunately, we have no information regarding the launch in India.

Built around a 6.2 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with 1520×720 pixels of resolution and waterdrop notch, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with Adreno 506 graphics processing unit. The handset will be available in two variants: 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM. The internal storage of both variants can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD.

Coming to the imaging department, the Oppo A7 features a dual rear camera setup comprised of 13MP (f/2.2 aperture) and 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) shooters. It also features a 16 megapixels shooter with f/2.0 aperture at the front for selfies and video calling.

Running on Android 8.1 Oreo along with company’s own ColorOS 5.2, the smartphone comes with 3.5mm audio jack, micro-USB with OTG, GPS with GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 and 4G with VoLTE in connectivity options. Further, the smartphone is backed by a 4,230 mAh battery.
