Oppo has been silently working on a new low-end smartphone – the Oppo A5 which has been spotted at a Chinese website MTKSJ. The handset is listed there with its full specifications and features along with some images. The handset features exact same ‘diamond design’ on the back which we have seen on RealMe 1, hinting that the company might rebrand this handset and launch in India as RealMe 2.
According to the website, the Oppo A5 is built around a 6.2 inch HD+ display with 720×1250 pixels of resolution, very thin bezels and that infamous notch. It is powered by a quad-core processor (Snapdragon 450) running at 1.8GHz of clocked processing speed.
Running on Android 8.1 Oreo, the Oppo A5 packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable through MicroSD. Talking about imaging department, it has dual rear camera setup featuring 13 and 2 megapixels sensors. It also features an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
Coming to the size of Oppo A5, it measures 156.2×75.6×8.2mm in dimensions and is backed by a huge 4,230 mAh battery. Further, as none of the aforementioned information has been officially confirmed by Oppo yet, we would suggest our visitors to take them with a pinch of salt.
