A couple of days back, we spotted Oppo A3s online where its full specifications got revealed. At that time, we had no clue when or whether the handset is going to launch in India. But now, the company has officially launched this handset in India. After seeing the specs and price, we can definitely say that this handset is targeted at budget-oriented customers and will compete with Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone Redmi 6 Pro.
Oppo A3s Price and Availability
The Oppo A3s has been launched in two color options – Red and Purple. It is priced at INR 10,990 and is already available through various e-commerce websites including PayTM, Amazon India and Flipkart.
Oppo A3s Specifications and Features
The Oppo A3s is built around a 6.2-inch HD+ display with 720×1520 pixels of resolution, notch and an impressive 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood of the smartphone is a 1.8GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, embedded into Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 SoC.
Running on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1, the Oppo A3s packs 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded using MicroSD. Talking about imaging department, the Oppo A3s features dual rear camera setup – 13MP with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calling, the handset has an 8 megapixels front facing sensor with AI beauty technology and f/2.2 aperture.
The Oppo A3s comes with four sensors – Accelerometer, G Sensor, Proximity and Ambient Light. It measures 156.2×75.6×8.2mm in dimensions and weighs 168 grams. Further, it is backed by a 4,230 mAh battery.
