OnePlus 6T was launched yesterday in India during an event held in New Delhi. The base variant of OnePlus 6T (6GB RAM with 128GB ROM) costs ₹37,999. While OnePlus fans are happy for it, Xiaomi (Poco India) decided to mock OnePlus through its #DoTheMath series of tweets. The company posted multiple images on its official Twitter handle, comparing the Pocophone F1 with OnePlus 6. The company has done OnePlus 6T vs Poco F1 comparison in a very unique way.
The base variant of OnePlus 6T costs ₹37,999 whereas the base variant of Poco F1 retails at much lower ₹20,999. So the total price difference between these two handsets is ₹17,000. So if you want to buy the OnePlus 6T, Poco India wants you to #DoTheMath first.
Both the OnePlus 6T and Poco F1 are powered by Qualcomm’s top-end Snapdragon 845 processor. While the OnePlus costs much, Poco India (through its tweet) wants you to check what you are getting for the price you are paying.
OnePlus 6T has a bigger 3,700 mAh battery. In fact, it’s the biggest battery we have seen on any OnePlus-branded device yet. Still, it is not bigger than the Poco F1 which comes with a 4,000 mAh battery. Poco India wants you to compare the battery before making a purchase.
3.5mm Audio Jack
This is probably the biggest drawback of OnePlus 6T. It lacks the 3.5mm audio jack. It’s a major setback for gamers like me who need to charge the device too often because of intensive gaming. And as it doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack, one can’t use the headphone and do the charging simultaneously. For comparison, the Poco F1 does have a 3.5mm audio jack and that’s why Poco India wants you to think before buying the OnePlus.
Both smartphones’ base variant comes with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Poco India also included this point in its tweet; hinting potential buyers to compare the price and the thing they are getting.
OnePlus 6T vs Poco F1: Which One is Better?
So obviously the question is which one is superior? Actually, it depends on the requirement. The Poco F1 does have an edge over OnePlus 6T when it comes to the budget, 3.5mm audio jack, and the battery. For a much affordable price, the Poco F1 does offer impressive specifications.
But there are few aspects where OnePlus 6T defeats the Poco. Its design & build quality is really good. Plus, the neat & clean operating system, very good set of cameras and in-display fingerprint sensor give` it an edge over Poco F1.
