Leaks have become possibly the most effective way of marketing especially when it comes to gadgets. They tend to generate more excitement simply because of their very nature, that is, something has been revealed which was supposed to be a secret. More often than not, it gives us more than a peek into what a manufacturer has been working on or at least it makes us feel that way. We have come to know recently that HMD Global is working on two flagship smartphones, Nokia 8 and Nokia 9, instead of one. And now, it seems we know which one is meant to be released this year.
Nokia 8 has been revealed in official images, but hold on, they may not necessarily be from the manufacturer itself. Apparently, it is the best leak of a smartphone in recent times besides that of the Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone 8 (it seems 8 is the magic number). And the device does seem to pack some serious punch thanks to the seemingly high-end specifications.
It is speculated that the Finnish company could reveal Nokia 8 on July 31, but we are yet to receive any confirmation on that. The upcoming smartphone will be running the Android Nougat 7.1.1 and powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor. The RAM is likely going to be 4 GB or 6 GB depending on the storage capacity. However, if only one of them becomes a reality then the 6 GB RAM version holds better chances.
Also, a dual camera setup at the back is a given and the imaging quality can be expected to be among the best with the Carl Zeiss optics.
Keep watching this space as we bring more updates on this.
