ZTE owned Nubia announced its Nubia Red Magic 2 gaming smartphone just a week after launching its Nubia X smartphone. The Red Magic 2 will be a successor to the Red Magic smartphone which made its debut earlier this year.
Nubia Red Magic 2 specifications:
The Red Magic 2 features a Snapdragon 845 processor clocked at 2.8GHz. The smartphone is equipped with up to 10GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage. The highlights of the smartphone include a dual Liquid + Air cooling mechanism. The liquid cooling system is said to bring down the temperature within the device to 13.2 degree Celsius and in further improves the performance by up to 70 percent.

Other features of the Red Magic 2 smartphone includes 3D stereo audio, DTS 7.1 surround sound, DTSX Ultra, a SMART PA amplifier and Artificial Intelligence noise cancellation for a seamless audio experience. The gaming smartphone also features a 4D gaming mode as well as a GameBoost mode that can be triggered using the dedicated physical button on the smartphone. The main feature of the 4D gaming is that it offers real-time game scene recognition with up to 40 different scenes. The phone will also have two touch sensors lined along the edges which Nubia calls Red Magic buttons.
Few things are still not clear about the smartphone that are its display size, battery and camera quality. However, by the given data it is clear that the device will run on Google’s latest Android 9 Pie interface. The device has a vertically placed fingerprint scanner at the back.
Nubia Red Magic 2 pricing:
The Red Magic 2 gaming smartphone from Nubia is currently under crowdfunding on Chinese seller JD.com and has already received over 2,300,000 yuan, twice as much as its expected target of 1,000,000 yuan. The smartphone will be up for pre-orders till December 6 after which the shipment will proceed. The gaming smartphone is available for starting price of 3888 yuan (approx. Rs 40,700).
