In the list of notch-equipped handsets, Nokia is also going to add its new smartphone. Called Nokia X6, the upcoming Android smartphone is expected to be launched at an event in China (held by HMD Global itself) on 27th of April. We have spotted press renders of this phone online.
Couple of weeks back, we told you that we have spotted digital advertisements in China in which two smartphones were crossing each other, making an X. This was a hint that the company is going to launch new smartphone under Nokia X series.
Anyway, talking about the upcoming android phone, the Nokia X6 features an iPhone X-like notch. The logo of Nokia generally sits at the top of front panel but as this handset has notch, the company has placed that logo at the bottom of front panel.
Except the front panel, everything else in design is identical to Nokia 7 Plus (Unboxing & Hands On). The rear panel has same camera placement with copper accent. According to the render, the handset is going to be launched in two versions: the entry level will have a MediaTek Helio P60 processor with 4GB or RAM whereas the expensive one will pack Snapdragon 636 with 6GB or RAM.
Running on Android 8.0 Oreo, the Nokia X6 features a 5.8 inch display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Connectivity options on the handset include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with GLONASS and USB Type-C. Rest specifications are yet to be revealed so stay connected, we will update you once we get our hands on new information.
