When an upcoming smartphone is regularly “exposed” on the net by means of variety of genuine information, it is a given that its unveil is near. So is the case with the Nokia X6, clearly, as it is going to become official coming Wednesday.
Recently, its specifications regarding the chipset and the RAM became known through TENAA listing. Now though, the handset has appeared on Geekbench in which its Snapdragon 636 chipset is put to test against the Snapdragon 630 of Nokia 6.1 and the Snapdragon 660 of Nokia 7 Plus.
The results are quite expected and the Nokia X6 is slightly closer to the 7 Plus than it is to Nokia 6.1, which is only good for the upcoming device. The results shown in the screenshots are of the 6 GB RAM variant, the most powerful of the three variants of Nokia X6 (the other two being equipped with 4 GB and 3 GB of RAM).
The results of the Snapdragon 636 in the images are of the “slower” 1.6 GHz Kryo 260 cores (while the remaining four Kryo 250 cores are clocked at a faster 1.8 GHz). The Snapdragon 660 chipset in Nokia 7 Plus also has the same Kryo 260 cores but clocked at higher speeds.
Keep watching this space as we bring more information about the Nokia X6.
