Motorola, The Lenovo-owned Company has scheduled the launch of the Motorola One Power in India for September 24. The device comes with a Max Vision display and Snapdragon 636 chipset. It also comes with Google’s Android One program, which is essentially aimed at offering faster Android updates and security patches.
Motorola India on its official Twitter account on Monday evening confirmed that the Motorola One Power will launch on 24th September. The tweet confirming its arrival also features a video that carries the Motorola One Power Branding. Also, the tweet has a hashtag with the phone’s name. The company says that the handset is the “co-creation of Motorola and Google”.
Motorola One Power features and specifications:
The Motorola One Power runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is upgradable to Android Pie. The phone features a 6.2-inch full HD+ Max Vision display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, paired with an Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The rear has a dual camera setup that includes a 16+ 5 MP sensor. At the front, the handset comes with a 12 MP sensor. Motorola has provided 64 GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the device for security. The smartphone packs a huge 5,000 mAh battery that is rated to deliver six hours of usage in 15 minutes of charge using Motorola’s TurboPower charger.
Motorola One Power price in India (expected):
Motorola One Power price in India is expected to around Rs. 14,000. The phone will compete with the likes of the popular Redmi Note 5 Pro. While the exact date of its availability is yet to be confirmed, Motorola at its announcement during IFA 2018 said that the handset would come to the Indian market starting October 2018.
