It hasn’t been too long that Motorola introduced the Moto G6 and its Play variant in the market. And talking specifically about the Indian market, the Moto G6 Plus is now available as well. While these latest Moto G smartphones are nothing but quite fresh in the industry, the company is in news for its next-gen G devices, namely, the Moto G7.
Depending on the rumors, hear-say or speculation, the Moto G7 renders have appeared on Weibo revealing a slightly different take on the display. The G7 seems to sport a small, rounded notch, something similar to the water-drop moniker recently made popular by Vivo.
While it is appreciable of Motorola to not go for a largely useless big cut-out at the top, the rounded notch still doesn’t appear to be a required design element at all. It could have been avoided. A notch, whether small or big, doesn’t do any good to the display or the viewership experience whatsoever. However, the design isn’t official yet, so this render might as well turn out to be nothing more than someone’s imagination running a bit wild.
Rest of the design is quite familiar indeed and is on the lines of the recent Motorola phones. The backside is curved towards the edges and there’s a dual camera module put inside a circular housing. The left side of the phone doesn’t hold any physical buttons or keys while the right side carries the volume buttons as well as the Power button.
Nothing else is known about the Moto G7 yet including the specifications and features. Keep watching this space for more information on this as well as other upcoming smartphones in 2018.
