Motorola, it seems, is on the verge of announcing the Moto Z2 as the phone has appeared on the GFX Bench. The Lenovo owned company has already released the fairly popular Moto Z2 Play earlier this month and now it is time to bring in the more powerful version of the same.

Moto Z2 appears on GFXbench revealing a good deal of its specifications

Seen on the GFX Bench, the Moto Z2 (or perhaps the Moto Z2 Force) revealed a few more interesting bits about its specifications. While it is known that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor with 4 GB of RAM (through its earlier appearance on Geekbench), the latest leak shows that it will have a higher resolution display of 2560 x 1440 on the screen measuring the same 5.5 inches. And it is on its way to have a 5-finger gesture support.

Moto Z2 has been found running the Android 7.1.1 which it shall have on its launch as well. The GPU is Adreno 540. It will have a dual camera and the screenshot reveals that the primary lens out of the dual setup will measure at 12MP (same as the Z2 Play). We would assume it to have an aperture of f1.7 which is the same as its sibling. There’s no info on the other lens yet. The front camera is also revealed as a 5MP unit. We expect these specifications to remain same when the phone is actually launched. The internal storage capacity could be 64 GB.

An official announcement about the device is still awaited, although, we suspect the launch may not be too far away. We guess it should be in a couple of month’s time which is usually a good time to make such announcements.

Keep watching this space for more information on this subject.
