After a lot of buzzes and wait, finally Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are here. People had many expectations from this Smartphone. Now let’s check out is it that good of a phone as people are expecting or not.
(Comes with Turbo Charger, USB and EarPhones)
Starting from design and built Moto G5 Plus has metallic built, with aluminum finish. It gives a feel of rich and classy phone which is amazing in this price range. The phone is more rounded and feels very comfortable and friendly in hands. Also, Phone is not that heavy. It provides great grip on hands.
The Moto G5 plus comes with a fingerprint scanner as well which is placed in the front underneath the Home Button. The fingerprint scanner also works as Android navigation keys. On the back, in the round panel the camera and LED Flash is placed with a shiny Moto logo and that is looking good to me.
Coming to its specification Moto G5 Plus packed with Android 7.0 Nougat and powered by a 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 processor. It has 5.2 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The display is bright. It works well in sunlight as well.
It has 12 MP primary camera with f/1.7, autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and 5 MP secondary camera. Taking pictures from the phone is quick and you get good pictures from the phone. In the dim light picture quality is not that great. If we talk about video quality G5 Plus also boasts 4K Ultra HD resolution video.
This phone has 4 GB/3GB of RAM. It also comes with 32/16 GB of internal storage and you can expand it further via a microSD card slot up to 128GB.
Battery & Performance
While using the phone it works magically without any lagging or heating issue. You can multitask very smoothly. Even while playing the game I did not face any issue.
It has 3000mAh non-removable battery. A full charge phone can last a whole day with heavy use. Also, it comes with turbocharger and which is pretty good; it got 50% charged only in 15 minutes.
Go For It or Not?
Well, I say go for it. One thing I don’t like about this phone is its speaker and sound quality. It is ok but not that great as other phones. At the last, it is priced at Rs 14,999/16,999. If you are a fan of Moto G series like me the price is not that extra so you can go for this classy looking and performing brand name. If you want worth of your every penny or value for money you have other phones like REDMI Note 4 and Lenovo P2. All and all you can say it’s a nice phone which offers a balance of design and performance.
