Micromax YU Ace Launched in India for Just ₹5,999

Micromax’s sub-brand – YU is back in the market after a long time. The company has launched a new low-end smartphone to compete with Redmi 5A, Infinix Smart 2 and 10.or D2. Called Micromax YU Ace, the handset is officially said to be exclusively available through Flipkart from the 6th of September. Said to be available in Black, Blue and Gold color options, the handset costs ₹5,999.

The Micromax YU Ace is built around a 5.4-inch HD+ FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 720 pixels of resolution. Powering the smartphone is MediaTek’s 6739 SoC which packs a quad-core processor running at 1.5GHz of clocked processing speed coupled.

The Micromax YU Ace is said to be available in two variants: 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM. The company has revealed that the 3GB RAM variant will be available later (no exact date). What’s interesting that the handset has face unlock and fingerprint sensor.

Talking about the imaging department, the Micromax YU Ace features a 13 megapixels camera on the rear with an LED flash. The company has also placed a 5 megapixels shooter at the front for selfies and video calling. Further, backed by a 4,000 mAh battery, the handset comes with dual SIM, Micro-USB, 4G with VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
