Xiaomi launched two new devices yesterday – the Redmi 6 Pro and Mi Pad 4. As if it wasn’t enough, the company has officially announced that it is going to hold an event on 3rd July where it will launch a new product. While we are yet to hear any official word regarding that ‘product’, we expect that it could be Mi Max 3 which has been spotted multiple times on the internet over the last few weeks.
The Mi Max 3, which is a successor to the Mi Max 2, comes in three variants and all of them have already passed TENAA certification. According to TENAA’s listing, the Mi Max 3 is built around a 6.9 inch Full HD+ display with 2160×1080 pixels of resolution and 18:9 display. This would be the first phablet in Mi Max series with full-screen design.
Talking about all three variants, the lower one will come with Snapdragon 636 processor. Whereas the mid and higher variants will come with Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 710 processor. The higher variant will also pack 6GB of RAM. As of now, no words on lower and mid variants’ RAM.
The Mi Max 3 features two 12 megapixels cameras on the rear whereas a 5 megapixels sensor is also placed at the front for selfies and video calling. Further, the device is backed by a huge 5400 mAh battery which is powered by Quick Charge 3.0 18W fast charging technology.
