Meizu is in the news since last couple of months for allegedly working on the successor of MX6. Called Meizu MX7, the handset was previously spotted at JD.com – a Chinese e-commerce website. At that time, the listing didn’t include any specifications except the chipset.
Today, we have spotted a live image of Meizu MX7; giving us an idea how the device will look in real. The handset has very thin bezels with slightly curved edges, hinting us that it might come with 2.5D curved glass. Below the display lies Meizu’s mBack ‘home key’ which doubles as fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately, leaked images didn’t show the back side of this phone.
Talking about the specifications, according to rumors, the handset will boast full metal body built around a 5.7 inch display with 2560×1440 pixels of QHD resolution. The handset is said to be powered by either Snapdragon 660 or MediaTek Helio X30 chipset.
Further specifications include a 21 megapixels camera which will be placed on the back, whereas it has 5 megapixels front facing camera. Said to be running on Android Marshmallow or Nougat with company’s own Flyme UI, the handset will also feature an USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.
