Meizu-branded smartphones generally come with specifications that worth its price. One such smartphone was Meizu M1 that was launched in India couple of years back. Since then, there was no trace of the company whether it is going to launch the new smartphone in India. But now, after a long time, the company is back in India with a new low-end smartphone – the Meizu M6.
Meizu M6 Price and Availability
The smartphone comes in two variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM. Unfortunately, the company has only launched 2GB RAM variant in India with a price tag of ₹7,699. It is exclusively available through Amazon. As of now, the company hasn’t stated anything officially regarding launch of the 3GB RAM variant.
Meizu M6 Specifications and Fearures
Bearing a polycarbonate body, the Meizu M6 is built around a 5.2 inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels of resolution. It is powered by an octa-core processor embedded into MediaTek MT6750 SoC. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat-based Flyme 6.0 UI.
Camera department of the Meizu M6 include a 13 megapixels rear shooter which has f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and 4-color RGBW flash. The handset also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Its fingerprint sensor is embedded into ‘home’ key placed at the front which, according to the company, unlocks the device is just 0.2 seconds.
The Meizu M6 comes with 8 sensors – Proximity, Infrared Radiation, Hall Sensor, Gyroscope, Gravity Sensor, E-Compass, Ambient Light and Accelerometer. With dual-SIM functionality, it has Micro-USB, GPS with A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G VoLTE in connectivity options. Further, the handset is backed by a 3,070 mAh battery.
