More and more Android flagships are coming with the Snapdragon 845 chipset and it is only natural. Qualcomm’s latest and the fastest chipset is setting the benchmark charts and real-world performance on fire. Additionally, 6 GB and 8 GB RAMs are becoming quite common across different segments.
On that note, Meizu 16 is one of the upcoming flagship smartphones and it is expected to become official tomorrow, August 8. The phone will be available in two variants – Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus – and one of them has appeared on Geekbench.
Unsurprisingly enough, Geekbench data confirms the presence of the Snapdragon 845 chipset as well as 8 GB of RAM (given in the form of Memory 7693 MB). This is a bit surprising because we expect the base RAM to be 6 GB and probably the Plus variant to be equipped with 8 GB of it. So, it is either the Plus variant or a different version with respect to storage.
Scores are impressive and generally as good as other phones with the same chipset and RAM combination. Nevertheless, we shall know soon what all variants the Meizu 16 will be coming in.
