After numerous leaks and reports, Lenovo finally launched the much-awaited smartphone – the Lenovo Z5 Pro. The company has claimed that this smartphone beats Honor Magic 2 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 when it comes to screen-to-body ratio.

Said to be available in Ceramic Black color option, the smartphone comes in two variants: 64GB internal storage and 128GB internal storage priced at CNY 1,998 (approx. ₹21,400) and CNY 2,298 (approx. ₹24,300) respectively. The price is attracting, right? But the bad news is that the company hasn’t revealed anything related to its global launch.
Lenovo Z5 Pro Specifications and Features
Starting with the highlights, the smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and slider front-facing camera mechanism which also packs IR sensor for a better face unlocking experience. The handset is built around a 6.39 inches full HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2340 pixels of resolution.
Running on Android 8.1 Oreo along with company’s proprietary ZUI 10, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC which packs an octa-core processor and Adreno 616 graphics processing unit along with 6GB of RAM. It measures 155.12×73.04×9.3mm in dimensions.
Coming to the imaging department, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup comprised of 16MP Sony IMX519 and 24MP Sony IMX576 sensors. Both have f/1.8 lens aperture. The handset also features a dual front-facing camera setup comprised of 16MP (with f/2.2 aperture) and 8MP (IR) sensors.
Talking about connectivity options, the Lenovo Z5 Pro comes with USB Type-C, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/g/n/ac, 4G with VoLTE and dual-SIM. It also has five other sensors – hall sensor, gyroscope, gravity, e-compass, and ambient light. Further, the smartphone is backed by a 3,350 mAh battery.
