The Lenovo Z5 has been in the leaks since a long time and was making headlines almost on a daily basis. But finally, giving an end to those rumors and reports, Lenovo has officially launched this latest premium smartphone in China. It was rumored to come with no bezels however, it has a notch and a little bezel at the bottom of front panel.
Lenovo Z5 Price and Availability
The Lenovo Z5 has been launched in China in two variants: 6GB RAM with 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM. The 64GB ROM variant costs CNY 1,399 (approx. ₹14,700) whereas the 128GB ROM variant comes with a price tag of CNY 1,799 (approx. ₹18,900). Lenovo Z5 Specifications and Features
The Lenovo Z5 is built around a 6.2 inch full HD+ IPS display with 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, 18:7:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved glass and 1080×2246 pixels resolution. The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ZUI 3.9. Both variants’ internal storage is expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD.
Talking about camera, the Lenovo Z5 features a combo of 16 and 8 megapixels shooters on the rear, placed vertically. The rear cameras feature AI capabilities, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture 4K support and HDR+. The handset also features an 8 megapixels front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Lenovo Z5 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor mated with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Connectivity options on the device include USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, and dual-band wi-fi 802.11ac with hotspot.
The Lenovo Z5 also comes with 6 sensors – proximity, gyroscope, electronic compass, ambient light, accelerometer and fingerprint. It measures 153×75.65×7.85mm in dimensions and weighs 165 grams. Further, the smartphone is backed by a 3,300 mAh battery with 15W fast charging (same as Moto G6).
