Leica’s compact camera C-Lux with 15x optical zoom launched in India
Leica, a known brand in the camera industry, has launched its latest compact camera named C –Lux in India, today. The camera is priced around Rs 85,000 and it will be available for sale from mid of August at Leica’s only official store in the country in New Delhi. The company also says that they will open another official store in the country by next year in Mumbai. The company has already launched this camera globally in June this year. The major highlights of the camera is its 15x optical zoom with focal lengths ranging from 24 to 360mm.
The Leica C-Lux comes with a 1-inch 20-megapixel MOS sensor with a Leica DC Vario-Elmar 3.3 – 6.4/8.8-132mm ASPH zoom lens. The camera has an aperture range from a f/3.3 aperture to f/8.0 aperture. The camera has an ISO sensitivity of 25600, which means that it can click clear shots in low-light conditions.
The Leica C-Lux comes with 49 autofocus points with an ability to capture up to 10fps. If we talk about videos, it has an ability to shoot videos in 4k resolution at 30 frames per second (for max. 15 minutes). The camera also comes with 5-axis stabilization which helps to reduce the handshakes and blurs.
The camera also comes with a 2.33-megapixel electronic viewfinder, which the company claims that it can cover 100 percent of the image field also there is a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display with a repellent coating which can prevent fingerprints. The camera supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi which allow you to transfer files wirelessly. Additionally, the users can download the Leica C-Lux app that is available for both iOS and Android devices.
