Leaks about any upcoming device can be had from various sources. This time, the XDA Developers website, which is a prominent of information on the internet related to Android, revealed some interesting bits about Huawei’s upcoming flagship, Huawei Mate 20.
First of all, the Huawei Mate 20 will have two more variants, namely, Huawei Mate Pro and Huawei Mate 20 Lite. What is more important is that the leaked information is specifically about the Mate 20.
It is said that the Mate 20 will be Huawei’s one of the first flagships to be powered by the company’s upcoming HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor. This processor will also makes its way into the Mate 20 Pro, of course.

Secondly, this remarkable processor, which is being developed on the 7 nm process, will be joined by 6 GB and 8 GB RAM options for a thoroughly killer performance. Kirin 980 will reach the speeds of up to 2.8 GHz and Huawei claims that it will be 20% better in performance and 40% more power efficient (battery usage) over the company’s current flagship Kirin 970. This appears like the improvement worth looking out for.
The Huawei Mate 20 will be powered by a 4,200 mAh battery which should be good enough for an impressive battery life out of a flagship. The display dimensions are said to be 6.3 inches while the Mate 20 Pro could come with a display measuring at 6.9 inches.
Furthermore, the phone will support wireless charging, hence, the glass back is a given. All three handsets – Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 Lite – are expected to come with Android P out of the box.
