Honor 8C has been in the leaks for a long time. We have done several stories about this phone. Leaks and rumors suggested that the handset is going to be the world’s first handset to come with Snapdragon 632. And it has come out to be true. The company has officially launched it with Snapdragon 632.
Honor 8C Price and Availablity
The Honor 8C is officially said to come in four color options – Midnight Black, Nebula Purple, Platinum Gold, and Aurora Blue. The handset will be available in two storage options – 32GB ROM and 64GB ROM priced at 1,099 Yuan (approx. ₹11,790) and 1,399 Yuan (approx. 15,000) respectively. It will be available to purchase from the 16th of October in China. Unfortunately, we don’t know when it will be launched in India.
Honor 8C Specifications and Features
Built around a 6.26 inches HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 80.4 screen-to-body radio, 1520×720 pixels of resolution and a notch, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. For security, the handset comes with face unlock feature as well as the fingerprint sensor.
Talking about the imaging department, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup comprised of 13MP (with f/1.8 aperture) and 2MP (with f/2.4 aperture) sensors. The company has also placed an 8 megapixels camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash at the front for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 OS and comes with GPS with GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-SIM and 4G with VoLTE in connectivity options. Further, backed by a 4,000 mAh battery, it measures 158.72×75.94×7.98mm in dimensions and weighs 167.2 grams.
