Updates regarding the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are becoming regular. Recently, the Pixel 3 XL leaked in live images revealing, and confirming, its design in full glory. And now, the phone has appeared on Geekbench.
This is an important leak as it confirms the primary specifications as well as gives decent idea about the phone’s real world performance prowess. So here it is.
The phone will come with Snapdragon 845, this we already knew as this is the logical upgrade over the last year’s Snapdragon 835, however, the RAM is 4 GB. This is unchanged from last year. In a way, it is slightly disappointing as well because all other flagships that are already launched with Qualcomm’s latest and the most powerful chipset are paired with at least 6 GB of RAM.
Furthermore, the Geekbench scores are not too impressive either even though Pixels are known to deliver extremely snappy real-world performance. On that note, we cannot expect anything lesser from the upcoming Pixel devices either. Just for comparison, OnePlus 6 (with Snapdragon 845 and 6 GB RAM) has scored 2478 points and 9030 points for single-core and multi-core in Geekbench 4.
