In line with various upcoming launches which is quite common in the second half of every year, Sony is also jumping on the bandwagon and will soon unveil a flagship-grade device, seemingly the Xperia XZ1 Compact.
The said device is listed as G8441 on the Geekbench and, interestingly, is running the Android O (8.0). The processor mentioned is clocked at 1.90 GHz with eight cores which translate to the Snapdragon 835. The RAM is 3,735 MB which means 4 GB – a typical choice with the Qualcomm’s current flagship processor. All this indicate to a top-notch performance.
Also, the handset is also found on the AnTuTu Benchmark and besides the processor and the operating system, it reveals the GPU as Adreno 540 while the display is High-Definition (720p on a 4.6 inches screen). Both the main and the secondary camera are listed as 8 mega-pixel units and the internal storage is 32 GB minimum. The running time will be provided by a 2,800mAh battery.
The reason we speculate it to be the Xperia XZ1 Compact is because a few days back a Sony device, listed as G8341, appeared on Geekbench with mostly similar specifications but with a bigger screen of 5.2 inches and it is reckoned as the Xperia XZ1. Hence, the G8441 with a smaller screen with other specifications being same should be the Compact variant.
