According to Consumer Reports, the Galaxy Note 9 is the only smartphone in the market which doesn’t have anything to criticize. In its initial test, the consumer association appreciated the key features of the device such as its massive OLED display, its S-Pen and variable aperture photosensor. They haven’t done the test of iPhone XS and XS Max but for now, they say Galaxy Note 9 is the best in the market.
The Association says “Thanks to its big battery and other features, the Galaxy Note 9 is the best smartphone we’ve tested”. Already in April 2018, the consumer association has considered the Galaxy S9 as the best smartphone in the market, ahead of Apple iPhone X.
Talking about the exceptional qualities of the smartphone, they said during our testing the phone held up to 29 hours on a single charge. To test the battery of a smartphone Consumer Reports puts the phone in hands of a robot, programmed to put its autonomy to test.
They also performed few drop tests, turned out that the Galaxy Note 9 is much stronger than its predecessor Galaxy Note 8. The Consumer Reports also fell for Note 9’s AMOLED infinity display and praised it.
Further, Note 9’s dual variable aperture sensor is among the best cameras of the year. Consumer Reports says “its fast autofocus” and its “bokeh mode that works well”. This is shared by the experts at DxoMark, who consider Note 9 as the 3rd best Camera phone of the year. “The new S-Pen makes using a smartphone of this size even more intuitive and easy,” said Consumer Reports. The association were really impressed and appreciated the features of the Bluetooth enabled S-Pen.
The Galaxy Note 9 will face tough competition from the iPhone XS and XS Max, said the Consumer Reports, which has not yet tested the newly launched iPhones.
