Qualcomm QuickCharge Fast Charge Technology
Currently, Qualcomm’s Fast Charge technology QC 3.0 is majorly seen in the market. It is also said that with the launch of Snapdragon 835 Chipset, Qualcomm will also launch the QC4 but actual application of the QC4 is not yet seen on devices. Qualcomm’s Fast Charge technology favors the high voltage program. In the QC 2.0 the voltage was higher which led the device to heat up while charging but Qualcomm begun lowering the voltage with the introduction of QC 3.0 and increased current which favored faster charging yet kept the device from heating.
Huawei’s Fast Charge Technology
Last year, Huawei launched the Mate9 Huawei SuperCharge Technology to support 5V/4.5A or 4.5V/5A high current charging. The measured peak charge power was 16W up and down. Due to the use of low-voltage high-current fast charge technology, Huawei’s SuperCharge technology generated lesser heat.
OPPO VOOC Flashing
OPPO’s VOOC Flashing technology is low-voltage fast charge technology, the measured peak power output from the program is 19W. It is the fastest Fast Charging Technology, according to actual charging experience. While charging from OPPO VOOC Fast charging technology, the heat generated is less and the phone’s body is just warm.

In the current fast-charge environment, the low-voltage and high-current is better than other high speed fast-charge technologies. Battery Loss
Fast Charging technology more or less affects the battery life of the device. At present, most companies that provide Fast Charging technology are not from battery life perspective. The smartphone replacement frequency is relatively high, after using the phone for a year or two, users generally replace the device. So, Fast Charging does not really impact the user experience when it comes to battery life experience.
