The Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad has launched the Coolpad Note 8 in the country. The main highlights of the device are a dual camera setup, a rear fingerprint sensor, a 4,000mAh battery, Face Unlock and a large 5.99-inch display with no notch.

The Coolpad Note 8 has a dimension of 151×72.5×8.3mm, and it weighs around 185 grams. The fingerprint sensor at the back is claimed to unlock the smartphone in merely 0.2 seconds. The fingerprint reader also supports touch control gestures to quickly launch apps and shortcut.
The latest offering from Coolpad features a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display with 1080×2160 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by 1.5 GHz MediaTek MTK6750T chipset paired with Mali T860-MP2 GPU. The device comes with 4GB RAM and 64 GB of Internal storage. The device also supports the expansion of storage via a microSD card slot up to 128GB.
Coolpad Note 8 packs a massive 4,000mAh battery, and the company says that it can last up to 200 hours on standby, and up to 8 hours on talk time. Connectivity option on the device includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, and various sensors such as proximity sensor, accelerometer, and light sensor.
Coolpad Note 8 Camera:
The dual camera setup on the device has a 16 MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and autofocus, and another is a 0.3 MP camera sensor. The flash is placed at the side of the two lenses, which are kept one below the other. For the selfies, the Coolpad Note 8 features an 8 MP, a 4P lens with f/2.2 aperture. The camera software features include filters, beautification mode for selfies, blur mode, panorama mode etc.

Coolpad Note 8 is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 4 + 64GB storage variant. There are no other variants of the device. The device will be exclusively available via Paytm Mall starting today. For colours, the smartphone comes in a Black Piano colour.
