Blackberry is having possibly the best time in recent years as its latest smartphone, KEYone, is sold out just after launch in the USA.
Known for its trademark physical keyboard, the one in KEYone has some innovative features like the fingerprint sensor integrated into the space bar and that the whole keyboard can be used for navigating and swiping through the content on the screen.
With more contemporary dimensions, good performance and generous app support due to the Android OS, the KEYone has been positively received and has seen the best response during launch among any Blackberry device in years. Amazon US has also reported encouraging demands for the smartphone. The telecommunications operator Rogers has received highest number of bookings for any Blackberry device to date.
The KEYone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB. It has a 4.5-inch IPS LCD 1080p screen with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection and runs on the latest Android Nougat. The GPU is Adreno 506.
Naturally, Blackberry is overwhelmed with such a response which is both inspiring and encouraging for them in such a tough phase. The company is actively working with retailers to ensure the availability of its latest phone.
