Asus originally launched the Zenfone Max Pro M1 on April 23, in two variants – 3 GB RAM (Rs 10,999) and 4 GB RAM (Rs 12,999) – and the company announced that it will launch a 6 GB RAM version as well in the near future. But they didn’t really give any particular date or a timeline.
However, that near future has arrived and Asus has indeed launched the 6 GB RAM variant of its remarkably competitive Zenfone Max Pro M1. The price is pretty good too, it’s Rs 14,999. As per the news, the Max Pro M1 is the only smartphone in India with the combination of Snapdragon 636 + 6 GB RAM which is priced below Rs 15,000 mark. That is an interesting piece of information.
The phone will be available exclusively through Flipkart. As far as the overall specifications are concerned, they remain same –
– Snapdragon 636, Adreno 509 GPU
– IPS LCD 5.99 inches display, Full HD+ resolution (1080p x 2160p)
– Pure Android Oreo 8.1
– Dual camera with 13 MP + 5 MP lenses having f2.2 & f2.4 aperture sizes respectively. Front 8 MP camera with f2.2
– 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging (10w charger supplied)
We have already compared the 4 GB RAM variant with a number of smartphones like Nokia 6.1, Honor 7X and Redmi Note 5 Pro. Additionally, here is our in-depth individual review of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.
