Apple launched its new updated MacBook Air 2018 and soon after the announcement of the laptop it has revealed the redesigned iPad Pro 2018. The new iPad Pro comes with a larger display and smaller bezels. The tablet packs a latest A12X Bionic chip, a USB-C port for connectivity and Face ID for a starting price of $799 (approx. Rs 58,000).

The new iPad Pro comes in two sizes one with 11-inch and other with a 12.9-inch display. Both the tablets ditched the home button in order to achieve the bigger screen size. The great work that Apple did with the new iPad Pro 2018 is its bezels, the bezels on the display are much smaller and the display itself is a Liquid Retina Display that made its debut with iPhone XR. The new iPad Pro now adopts a gesture-based navigation same as iPhone X due to the removal of the home button.

The iPad Pro 2018 is run by Apple’s latest A12X Bionic chip which is an octa-core CPU that performs 35 percent faster in single core tests and up to 90 percent faster on multi-core tests. The inbuilt 7-core GPU in the tablet offers what Apple says is Xbox One S-like performance in a smaller package. The iPad Pro 2018 will offer up to 1TB of flash storage right onto the device. There is also a USB-C port which allows it to be connected to 5K displays and other gadgets easily.
The major happening to the tablet is that Apple has decided to remove the 3.5mm headphone jack. However, some new addition to the tablet comes in with the addition of Face ID which is now possible with the TrueDepth camera which is present on the latest iPhones. There’s no notch, instead, there is a flat black bezel on top which comprises all the necessary sensors.
Apple has placed four sets of speakers on the iPad Pro 2018 which offers a wider stereo sound experience. For imaging, there is a 12MP camera at the back which is capable of shooting 4K videos at 60fps. The iPad Pro will come with Gigabit LTE, an 18W charger with up to 10 hours of battery life.
